Paranormal Potential ranks are based % likeliness, which is determined by how likely a paranormal event has occurred in the location. % likeliness is based upon data collected, personal experiences, and historical research. These values are calculated into a percentage. Multiple case percent totals are averaged into a total percent. Totals begin at 1% and end at max 85% to account for human error. The current calculations yield:
No Activity Potential - Has been disproved by scientific means or little/no evidence was found. (1%-5% likely.)
Investigation - Vestal Home
Comments: A case located in Vestal NY brought us to a home where claims centered around children who were seeing visual apparitions and feeling uncomfortable in their own home. Due to the fact that most of the claims were experienced by the children, and few by the parents, we sought out to attempt to find natural explanations that would be a factor. Some claims were easily able to dismiss due to reflections off chandeliers, localized abnormal base EMF readings, and natural noises permeating through the home. However, even with a strong debunking sense in mind, the team did have several unusual experiences that were, for the most part, unexplained. The first of which occurred when a door to the basement opened slightly on its own. Attempting to find natural explanations in terms of air pressure and any fulcrum movement on the hinges turned up empty. Unfortunately no video evidence of this was captured w/lack of a DVR security cam in the area as well as MiniDV not focusing on this area. There was also several strong EMF spikes which registered high on our KII meter, with no apparent source. Spikes can indicate paranormal if no source is found. Some common sources for spikes in a stationary KII are SMS text messages from cell phone, walkie talkie, and other short-burst transmissions. None of these were occurring during the bursts, so it remains unusual. Finally, a localized "cold-spot" was found, where an area contained a significant cooler temperature than the base temperature of the home. However, due to the cold air outside and possibility for a draft, this claim was somewhat dismissed. After reviewing evidence, two audio clips of significant value contains a child's voice (male or female is undetermined), both laughing and saying the phrase "Can You Talk to Me"? The voice is unique and did not belong to any team-member and the phrase itself would not have been spoken by anyone on the case. An unofficial claim that is currently under verification states that a child did die who lived in the home. Until that claim is verified that is just speculation. However, due to the audio of both of these clips, this may have some merit. After the minor personal experiences and slight audio EVP's contained, we believe that this home may indeed have paranormal activity. If so, the activity is not very frequent, and most likely a small child, which is probably where the interest lies with the children seeing this figure. It may be the case that the activity may slow down or stop entirely when the children grow up.
Investigation - Fon Clair Street Home
Immediately beginning in the investigation, our team noticed something dramatically off; our EMF and KII meters were acting extremely unusual. The readouts gave around a 1.5-2.0 milligauus reading (100-200% above normal). Immediately concerned with a source or possibly malfunction with the equipment, our team used multiple devices and checked multiple sources. All readouts came to the same conclusion with no source found. This reading was exact through every corner of the home; through the basement, the 1st floor, as well as the 2nd floor. We concluded that the base EMF of the home had to be around 2.0 milligauus, which (while not immediately dangerously high), is significantly higher than an Moderate home. The exact source or reason behind why the EMF base was so high remains a mystery. Possibly sources could include, but not limited to; faulty electrical wires, underground electrical wires near home, running river under home, etc. High EMF can yield some common side effects such as paranoia, nausea, headaches, rashes, even hallucinations. Our team did a full analysis on each area of the home with all equipment in order to locate the source of the paranormal activity claims. Our team did not capture anything paranormal visual or audible and had no personal experiences within the home. Some of the claims, such as the voices heard when sleeping, were attributed to both a phenomena known as hypnologic hallucination as well as the high EMF bolstering this effect. When sleeping, a person may experience strong visual or audible stimuli which may seem very real to the individual while they are in their half awake and half dream state. EMF may cause hallucinogenic properties, which can be enhanced by this dream-like state. A combination may yield a natural answer to this. A visual shadow like person seen was also most likely a shadow-object illusion which was created on the placement of the person seeing the objects and the lighting of the area. Through all of this, our team concluded that there is most likely nothing paranormal in nature in this area. However, the high EMF was extremely perplexing and more research into the source of this should be investigated. Paranormal activity may or may not be fueled by this source, as EMF is a natural source of energy. However, for the purposes of our investigation, the home is most likely a natural site.
Investigation - Main Street Home
The team, as always, immediately attempted to debunk the claims and find rational explanations. We also used a new tool, a Thermal Imager, to actually hook up to the DVR system using a BNC connection, allowing us to convert a security DVR camera into a full thermal security camera. An invaluable ability for paranormal research. We were able to dismiss a few of the sounds heard as natural motor hums or outside interference. However, the team did experience a few minor personal experiences which ranged from an electrical cord which moved by itself and lightly hit one of the investigators in the foot, twice. In the same area, we noticed significant EMF activity from one of our KII EMF devices without any apparent source. Unfortunately, this activity was captured in an area without any video or audio representation. Perplexed, we began the data analysis after the case was over. We did capture one significant audio clip of a woman saying "Goodbye". The voice was so loud and distinct, we originally dismissed it as the client or investigator speaking. However, both confirm that the voice did not belong to them and the word "goodbye" was not spoken. This clip thus then gives some credibility to the voices being heard in the home. No large visual activity was captured, however. UPDATE - A recently overlook audio clip was currently added to the list of possible evidence. This clip contains heavy footsteps, almost in an old 1800's boot-like fashion, which made little sense as no one wore any types of heavy boots to make this noise. In addition, the clip finishes with a handle latch being opened, which again had little natural counterpart with the sound of anything in the home. While we are still in analysis over this and attempting to re-create the sound in case this was a natural occurrence, we have included it since it is perplexing and does correlate with the clients claims. (The boots and latch was supposedly not heard at the time of the clip, making this a residual type audible sound)
Investigation - West Ten Eyck Street Home
Using a new type of device donated to us for research by KII Enterprises, The Tattle Tale, we were able to detect seismic waves (P and S) that could be generated in the home to detect any object movements. While the tests we conducted with the device were successful, it did not find anything natural or unnatural to cause those object movements. Our data did not find anything paranormal in nature to suggest a paranormal event, but did find some natural causes to support the claims. The first occurred with a CD player opening by itself, thereby knocking a few objects off. We determined that the CD player was an advanced model that had a mechanism for opening itself by use of a remote control. Remote controllers use IR frequencies that allow it to do different functions such as Volume, Channel, and open/close CD tray. Other devices sometimes (although not always), cross the different frequencies to create un-desirable effects to other devices. For example, a TV remote controller could have activated the CD player's functions if it was on the right channel. Furthermore, the TV remote controller was a "universal" remote, which contains a plethora of different frequencies for different TV's, further increasing the chances that this was the case. Other object movements could have been caused by other events, such as loose floor-boards causing creeks, wood expanding and contracting due to hot/cold temperatures, and loose nails allowing pictures to fall off themselves. This was a good case in order to find natural causes to explain basic paranormal claims experienced by homeowners on a daily basis around the country.
Investigation - Lowville Home
Even with these difficult conditions, we were able to progress through and investigate both areas. The first up was the massive barn. Power was brought into the barn through 100 foot extension cords and security DVR cameras were setup in both floors. Right from the start, some unusual activity was picking up as some unknown EMF fluctuations. This was at first extremely interesting, as the barn had no natural power source going into the area. Further debunking of this would be needed. The barn itself had the original blacksmith shop in the back, with further work areas in the front and second floor of the barn. Past investigators who have been to this area may have collected some EVP's with a German voice and accent. Historical research has backed this claim up by learning that many German blacksmiths did move into this town. Moving into the main home where apparitions of females and shadows have been seen, activity seemed to pick up as we approached the upstairs. While walking down a hall, there was nothing on the ground. After around 10 minutes, when returning to the same hall, some papers had appeared on the ground. Unfortunately, no video recorded this movement, so exactly how they fell remained unknown. Due to this, a MiniDV was placed to re-capture this evidence; no further activity continued on video. As we approached one room, a strong rotten egg odor was emitted. The source of this smell was completely unknown. Rotten egg is often attributed to a strong sulfur emission. Sulfur has been known to be paired with paranormal activity as a phantom smell. However, sulfur has also been found in old floorboards, insulations, and other materials, especially from 150+ years ago. This gaseous smell could be released to create similar effects to high EMF, such as nausea and headaches. To that end, an additional very high base EMF was found in that room; around a 3.0-5.0 milligauus. This only occurred in this one room, and appeared to be coming from downstairs. An exact reasoning of why this high EMF occurs is unknown, but most likely has to do with a pipe or major wire system between floors. As investigators further investigated upstairs, a loud whisper was heard by an investigator. This whisper was caught on audio as well. After analyzing all the evidence, a plethora of audio came out of this. This audio was everything from a female laughing in the barn (when no females were present), to phantom whistling, even an object movement caught only on audio when no investigators were present. Due to all of this, we have decided a re-investigator would be prudent to re-capture more of this evidence, and possible gain some video evidence as well.
Investigation - Lowville Home (Re-Visited)
While the case yielded less personal experiences this time around, we were able to capture additional data. One piece of data is a video caught on a stationary MiniDV in the barn area. This showed an unknown light that appeared briefly from the corner of an open door and disappear. Car lights and flashlights were ruled out due to no reflection in any other part of the room, no light trails on any other object in the room, and no car engine was heard. This light did appear in an area that had previous activity in it. We also gained two additional EVP clips from both inside the house and in the barn area. Combining all of the data received and experiences, we were able to provide brief explanations into natural occurrences in the home and barn, but far too many questions were left unanswered. It is with our opinion that there is an Moderate amount of paranormal activity that occurs in both the home and adjacent barn area. To the extent of who the activity belongs to and what type of activity it is remains unknown. The best answer lies in continuing to capture data from this area and research more history in the area to separate truth from fiction.
Investigation - Groton Church
The team investigated major claims of visual and audio based activity in both the first and second floors. The first section of interest was the main congregational room where people would gather for Church mass. Now, this area is a community center to showcase artwork and designs. The priest altar area has been blocked by a wall and is now its own room. The team heard noises while investigating this area coming from the alter room, and immediately went to investigate. A digital recorder was decided to be placed there to re-capture those noises. Much to our surprise, the recorder did pick up an object that sounds as if it was dropped or thrown later during data review as well as a female voice that appears to say "This is my home here". Something that we were able to at least debunk was music that was heard in the church. Our recorders picked up some loud music that appeared to be organ music. Upon further review from other investigators, it was learned this music was coming from another church nearby. As we went upstairs, we went to an area where a claim occurred of a female that was seen in great distress. After starting an initial EVP session, our recorders picked up what appears to be a loud female cry that lasted several seconds. This was quite astonishing as no females were present in that area at this time as well as matching the visual claim. While we had relatively no personal experiences at the Church, the data collected was far too numerous to dismiss. We have decided to return to the Church to attempt to re-capture this data and possible gain video evidence to support these claims.
Investigation - Madison Barracks - Expanded
The primary advantage of this case allowed us to hard-wire two buildings with DVR cameras than the single building used last time. Unfortunately, only the main building used last time had power and was kept in normal conditions. The other building wired was dilapidated and had no power going to it. In order to solve this problem, we used a solution where multiple power cords were strung between buildings to grant our cameras access to power. Another building of interest, the old Mess Hall, was too far away to be completely wired by DVR cameras. During the investigation, many investigators reported unusual occurrences in many of the buildings. One building that contained cameras but was under repair had odd metal type clanking noises and possible footstep type noises without any source. Investigators went to determine the source, but were unable to. Other sounds occurred in the basement of the main building where sounds of objects dropping were heard. The most unusual building researched was the Mess Hall. This also was under repair and had many loose floorboards. Many sounds were heard here such as objects moving and metal clanking. Audio's continued to record these noises, but minimal video coverage in this area prevented us from finding the source. Some audio clips may point to animal contamination such as Raccoons where sharp "chirping" noises were heard. Since some of these buildings have loose walls where animals could easily enter, it is a high probability that this is what was causing the majority of the noise. Still, with our ability to debunk a large number of areas, our data still turned up some interesting finds. The main building still had a claim of a woman or women who were heard and possibly worked there over a hundred years ago. Similar to last case, our audio's did capture a possible female voice that may say the words "Help Me". Other slight female noises were heard across the building, while many others were debunked due to the high amount of noise contamination that reverberated through the buildings to the open ended entries to areas. All in all, our second investigation of this area proved to be as fulfilling as the first. Many claims to debunk, but also many claims to support. There are still many more buildings in this area that need investigating, so a full-scale investigation of this place would require many TAPS Family groups working cooperatively together. We would be extremely interested in returning to this place at a later date.
Investigation - Fort Ticonderoga
The Fort itself was home to countless paranormal claims by several staff members and patrons. Claims between seeing apparitions of soldiers (most notable British as they were seen wearing a red uniform) in parts of the barracks and through windows were seen, including hearing horses down near the French lines of trenches dug during the battles. Various balls of light and other unexplained phenomena were seen in the main barracks areas as well.
The fort was covered from top to bottom with an impressive combination of equipment from both Family teams. Multiple teams covered specific areas and were interchanged to cover the most ground. For the SP teams, we started our investigation on the soldiers quarters. There were several claims of footsteps being heard on a level above where no one was supposed to be situated. Our audios and personal experiences did not pick up any footstep like movements, but we did discover that opening certain doors created an extremely loud sound that could be mistaken for footsteps on below levels, as sound was not blocked out between floors. That being said, we did get a wide variety of unexplained audio clips, the most notable of which occurred on the 3rd floor soldiers quarters. The clip contains the voice of an unknown female which appears to be speaking in a French accent and the language is French. It may appear to say "ah il y a sa louche" (There is her ladle), or "ah il y a salissure", (There is a stain). Either case, this was an incredible find as no females were talking at that time and they do not know French. Other audios were discovered around the Fort, which included a male moan near the 1st floor dormitories, a possible "Yes Sir" clip near the Casemate, a female voice that appears to say "I'm Ok" in the general's quarters, and a male "No" in the same location.
Other locations also proved to be quite interesting. Claims of odd feelings and experiences in the bakery shaft, which was covered in wood, also had some interesting experiences with an EMF that appeared to respond when we began saying the word "Bread" in French. Other EMF activity appeared on the 1st floor quarters when we placed two KII meters in different areas, but one after the other lit up full charge, as if a wave of electromagnetism energy passed through both.
Overall the Fort contained a wealth of paranormal activity in addition to its historical significance. Clearly one of the most interesting investigations that we ever have completed, the SP team was extremely thankful for the opportunity to investigate this area and we hope to return to assist at a later date.
Overall, most, if not all of the claims were able to find strong natural counterparts. In addition to not receiving any data, we would have to conclude that this area has very little or no activity. This is able to put to rest some confusion about what may or may not be going on here. As debunking is an important part of what we do, we are glad to assist in this case.
Investigation - State Route 369 Home
The team brought an array of scientific equipment to investigate the claims, such as a DVR system, digital voice recorders, EMF detectors, digital cameras and video cameras. Some of the claims that the homeowner had were easily debunked, such as the orbs on the baby monitor. We found that monitors which cast infrared lights or other lights can illuminate dust particles giving it an illusion of an orb. For the claim of footsteps we were unable to find data to support or refute this. During the investigation no footsteps were heard or captured that were not caused by our investigators. Even though we were unable to find unnatural explanations there are possible natural ones. A possible natural explanation could be due to the settling of the house on its foundation. For the claim of the computer being typed on, we were unable to find any data to support or dismiss the claim. An explanation could be that keys were stuck together or an array of different technical issues. Lastly, we found no significant evidence to support or dismiss the claim of the child getting scratches and bruising or the cats refusing to go into the room. Overall, the investigation only yielded one unexplained piece of audio and natural evidence such as noise contamination could give a possible explanation to noises heard in the house, for sound easily travels through the house. Also, high Electro-Magnetic Frequencies in the second bedroom emanated from the baby monitor of above 25 gauss. High EMF exposure (especially for a long duration) can lead to headaches, feelings of paranoia, being watched, feelings of nausea and even hallucinations. Due to the noise contamination of the residence it is very hard to label the piece of audio as evidence. Ultimately, we were able to debunk most of the claims, as debunking is an important part of what we do, yet this was a great case to help show the homeowners how natural causes can be thought of as paranormal.
Investigation - Walnut Street Home
The first claim was that of objects moving and noises that occurred from objects being moved. We could not find any evidence to support or refute the claims. One particular claim was of the water faucet spraying the home owner while the faucet was on. This could be explained by a malfunction within the mechanism itself, for example the handle could have been stuck from its last use. The second claim was of a disembodied voice that was heard by a resident that had said “move”. Our team was able to find some evidence to support this claim, yet not enough. We were able to catch an audio clip, known as an EVP, which may have said “Children Hurry”. This voice was of a husky male which differed from the voice reported to us as a child’s voice that said “move”. However, the home carried voices well throughout, therefore voices heard could possibly, though not necessarily, be caused by another person in the home. Next we had the claim of the impressions left on the bed in the master bedroom. Throughout the house we had multiple IR cameras, including the master bedroom, in attempt to capture these claims. After reviewing the camera recordings we had no evidence to support or refute this. Although there is a possible natural explanation to these occurrences such as forceful air pressure can create the illusion of covers moving and/ or someone sitting down on a bed. The next claim was that the son saw an apparition of an old woman walking in the hallway on the second floor. Upon review of this claim and hearing the first-hand account of the sighting of the apparition, The Scientific Paranormal team concluded that this activity had most likely been natural. As mentioned above, we had multiple IR cameras in place and captured no evidence to support or refute this claim. The claim mainly stemmed from the son having a dream of an old woman, whom he had never met. After which he then woke and claimed to have seen her walking down the hall. Right after waking, people are often in a half-awake dream-like state. This psychological effect can produce vivid sounds, sights and even smells as to which a person can believe they are awake to witness. Lastly, the homeowner had a claim that she felt the presence of a black shadow standing over her while she was in bed. We concluded that this was a natural occurrence more than a paranormal one after analysis. A few things could have contributed to this such as in the previous claim of waking up then experiencing the feeling of the presence. Or a nearby electronic giving off high Electro-Magnetic Frequency (EMF) may have produced a feeling of paranoia contributing to the shadow feeling. No high EMF’s were discovered occurring from the electrical wiring, but it is possible that an electronic may have been moved. During the investigation our team had one personal experience where three of our investigators witnessed a red light. The light however was not captured on still photo nor was captured on the DVR system which could ultimately just have been dust. Overall, the team was able to find natural explanations for a wide variety of the claims. Object movements, sounds and even visual phenomena all had plausible counterparts to them. Our team feels we were able to lie to rest most of the claims standing by our views of debunking in a scientific aspect.
Investigation - Union Springs Home
No voices were captured during data review, but the team did find high EMF's produced by various areas in the kitchen. As some preliminary research has shown, high levels of EMF can produce a paranoia and even manipulation in your senses, particularly sight, sound, and touch. In this way, voices can be heard, things may be seen, as well as heard. Some people are tolerant to higher EMF's and have less side effects while others are not. Other factors determined by the phantom smells such as cigarettes in the home was found, but was likely due to the wood absorbing the smell. Wood can often absorb smells such as cigarettes and be released overtime. Cold/Hot temperatures can cause wood to expand and contract, also releasing the smells in short bursts of intensity. The team also found no other data to fully explain any of the paranormal activity going on within the home, but there were several personal experiences by some team members. Some voices and noises were heard within the home that could not be determined for their source. This, however, was not captured on audio. In addition, there were several EMF spike fluctuations that could not be accounted for. While EMF spikes are not considered absolute paranormal evidence, it is listed due to the fact that no source was found and was captured on video. Overall, the team could not determine a positive identification for the home as non paranormal or paranormal. There are two many factors playing between natural occurrences and unnatural. We may need to return to the home at a later time to identify a solution.
Investigation - Beacon Home
The team decided to attempt to debunk as many claims as quickly as possible to dispel any myths surrounding the case. However, we found little or no explanations for how some of these claims could have occurred naturally. There were of course theories such as people from outside causing noise, vibrations through the floor slowly moving objects over time, or air vents causing cold spots, but nothing was substantial enough to label as fully debunked. Unfortunately little was captured during the investigation that could be used as data to support a paranormal hypothesis, but we did capture a small audio clip of an unknown female voice. The location of the voice remains uncertain since it was faint, but we are unsure of who this voice belongs to. Overall, the team was intrigued by this area and we would be open to returning to this case again to continue our work in debunking or finding paranormal data.
Investigation - Horseheads NY Home
The first claims we sent out to debunk was that of object movement. According to the client they had a plaque that would fall off the wall and land face up along with a chandelier that would sway back and forth. As far as the plaque went our team found no evidence to support or refute this claim. The investigation of the plaque lead us to believe it was a natural phenomenon for that it is possible that the plaque was not properly placed on the wall and could have been knocked loose at some point. The Chandelier was also found to be inconclusive and or natural for we found no evidence to support or refute this item either. We did notice during the investigation that the dining room, where the chandelier is located, is the area in the house that where the clients smoke. It is very plausible that the smoke from a cigarette could have very well caused an illusion of movement. Also the chandelier moves with the slightest touch, and it is possible that the cause of the movement could have been from a very slight seismic activity that cannot be felt if it had been going on at the time. The next claim was of various apparitions seen inside and outside of the home. Our team first investigated the claims on the interior of the home which seemed to be targeted around the hallway and the bedroom doorway. We found no evidence to support or refute these claims. Throughout the investigation, a high Electro-Magnetic Frequency (EMF) was recorded in the hallway. We found that there was a significant difference in the EMF reading when the lights were on (high reading) to when they were off (low reading). This is likely due to unshelled wiring in the home. A High EMF (anywhere above one milligauss) can cause interesting side effects such as headaches and hallucinations. The outdoor apparitions were said to appear in the backyard and heard in the cul-de-sac, which was out front of the house. We found no evidence to support or refute this claim either. Because no evidence was found, this claim cannot be labeled as paranormal, but because the activity has been supposedly experience by neighbors as well, it cannot be immediately dismissed as natural either. One should always be aware of possible human contamination when any activity happens. Next we investigated the claim of disembodied voices and noises. Because of the room’s close proximity to the hallways, and the presence of multiple animals in the room, the activity likely is of natural origin. The high EMF could be affecting the client’s audio perception. Sounds that are normal to everyday life are heard out loud, when there really is silence. Lastly, our team had one personal experience in the master bedroom. The experience was of the master bedroom door opening on its own. Upon further investigation we found that a second before the door opened slightly an investigator had touched the door handle, which may have caused the movement. We also found upon further investigation that the door must be completely latched or it will open immediately. The delay between the investigator touching the door and its opening makes it likely to be an unnatural phenomenon; however it cannot be listed as paranormal evidence because the door was touched so soon beforehand. Overall, due to the lack of decisive evidence found in the home and the severely high EMF found in the hallway where much of the visual and auditory activity manifested, it is quite possible that much of the activity is caused by the high EMF or manifested because of it. It is very important to remember the side effects from being exposed to high EMFs such as paranoia and nausea to hallucinations. We believe that the case that was presented was a great opportunity for our team to go in with our debunking skills to set aside some of the worries of the home owner, which we feel, were done successfully.
Investigation - Solvay NY Home
However, the case was not without its mysteries. During the course of the night a pillow was found to be on the floor, where previously it was on top of the bed. While we did not have any video to support this claim, we did know that no one was in the area at this time. While this remains only a story and cannot be used as paranormal data, it does leave our head scratching. In addition, we were unable to determine how a wallet could be thrown onto the floor by its trajectory from the table. The force to take it would simply be too large to make this a natural or accidental push. This was a similar factor into the previous Beacon NY case. Overall the team found enormous pockets of base EMF energy in the area which simply could not be ignored as possible causes of the paranormal activity. We also ran into a few problems that left us confused of possible paranormal activity. However, with no data to support this, we could not list this as strong evidence.
Investigation - Captain Grant's Inn
The team brought on a fellow TAPS Family member team; Queen City Paranormal, in order to assist with this investigation. This doubled our size and scope of the case in order to cover the area better. After traveling through the Inn into each room, we noticed a few aspects that became apparent to us. First, many rooms contained an older heating system that would create a knocking sound after a while. This could easily lead someone not used to this believe the knocking may be paranormal. Additionally many shadows and lights poured into the Inn as its located on a smaller country road, but on a path to a major casino and other major highways. One particular room also had a distinct slant which could create a popular coined phrase "fun-house effect" whereby someone would feel uneasy or disoriented due to the angle in which it is on. Even with these aspects known, the Inn did surprise us. During the investigation a vacuum cleaner was found in the middle of the kitchen. This was surprising as we did not believe this vacuum cleaner was left here, and no investigators were present in the kitchen. Unfortunately a DVR camera was not present in the kitchen, and this was not captured on video. However, we did have multiple audio's in which one picked up a faint sliding sound; possible that of a vacuum cleaner. We cannot label this as paranormal evidence however since the sound could have accounted for a number of things. Other audios did pick up additional unusual bangs and even a possible footstep(s) in the attic, which would directly support one of the Inn's claims. Of course, as with all other audio's that contain bangs, we cannot label this as strong paranormal correlation. Bangs, knocks, and other object oriented audio's are too commonplace to be considered paranormal, even if there is a chance they may be. Natural wood creaking, wind, and other factors could be causing this to occur. Overall, the Inn contained a wealth of historical features and beautiful inner design architecture. The team was able to begin to find natural causes for some of the claims and even a bit of potentially paranormal ones as well. Even with the extra equipment, we still are left wondering what may still be going on at the Inn. We believe additional investigations at this site may yield even more data for us to gain a better understanding of the activity. As such, we leave the paranormal potential at a starting rate, which may increase if new data is discovered in the future.
