Comments: The CT team traveled to Beacon NY to help a homeowner with some very odd paranormal claims. These claims were so strong in fact that we had difficult time in attempting to debunk a majority of them. Some of these claims were visual others were audible. For example, the client had experienced seeing a female apparition in the window of her home while she was outside in older garments. Other times she had expensed whispering in the living room while she had felt a cold spot on her legs and felt a hand touch her leg. Even more perplexing was an entire laundry detergent bottle was flung off of the dryer and landed far away on the basement floor. There were objects blocking the trajectory of this bottle, so the bottle would have had to make an entire 360 degree spin to have landed the way it did.
The team decided to attempt to debunk as many claims as quickly as possible to dispel any myths surrounding the case. However, we found little or no explanations for how some of these claims could have occurred naturally. There were of course theories such as people from outside causing noise, vibrations through the floor slowly moving objects over time, or air vents causing cold spots, but nothing was substantial enough to label as fully debunked.
Unfortunately little was captured during the investigation that could be used as data to support a paranormal hypothesis, but we did capture a small audio clip of an unknown female voice. The location of the voice remains uncertain since it was faint, but we are unsure of who this voice belongs to. Overall, the team was intrigued by this area and we would be open to returning to this case again to continue our work in debunking or finding paranormal data.
