Comments: The NY SP team traveled to Auburn to investigate claims in a home. The clients had heard a woman's voice near where their 2 year old child slept in their bedroom, in addition to various footsteps heard when the children are asleep. Some children have seen a partial apparition.
The SP Team began work to debunk some of the noises that occurred in the home. We noted that the architecture of the home allowed sounds to travel through and would make locating the sound very difficult. For example, one investigator thought footsteps were heard upstairs when it was actually another investigator walking downstairs. This could easily confuse someone onto the source of sounds in the home. No other unexplained noises or even visual activity was found in the home. Some unusual light reflections from the various aquarium tanks located in the home may account for quick visual disturbances, but otherwise, nothing unusual. Some very high EMF was found in the master bedroom on the scale of 16 milligauus, and a living room reading of 7-10 milligauus. The aquarium fish tanks also were giving off over 50 milligauus. High EMF may lead to various side effects or misinterpretation of sounds or visual sights.
Overall, there was no indication of anything unusual within the home. There was one captured audio voice that sounded too mechanical or possibly from the outside that was unaccounted for. If it was coming from outside, this may also be a contributing factor to noises being heard in the home.
